Boyette Reclaimed Water Reservoir

The Boyette Road Reservoir is a 500-million-gallon reclaimed water reservoir that will provide increased storage as part of the Pasco County Master Reuse System (PCMRS). Reclaimed water is water that is used more than one time before it passes back into the natural water cycle, such as wastewater that has been treated to a level that allows its reuse for a beneficial purpose. Reclaimed water is an essential part of the overall water utility system in Pasco County, with the County producing more than 20 million gallons of reclaimed water every day.

The project is a 31.4 million in value and consists of 600,000 cubic yards of earthwork, the construction of 8,300 linear feet of TRD seepage cut-off wall at an average of 60-feet in depth, and, 740,000 square feet of 60-mil HPDE Geomembrane Liner. The project also consists of constructing a control structure, overflow structure, electrical, maintenance and chemical buildings as well as a west compressor structure and extensive electrical and process instrumentation controls. The project is scheduled to be completed in August of 2015.
