Field Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead weekly progress meetings and quality control meetings
  • Review project plans and specifications for accuracy
  • Review Daily Field Reports from inspectors
  • Manage all third party inspectors and review all inspection data
  • Review laboratory and field testing
  • Implement and execute the 3 Phase Control System
  • Create and implement a Contractor’s Quality Control Program.  This program will be based on a three phase process consisting of preparatory, initial and final coordination meetings and required inspections and reports
  • Perform field inspections and direct project staff on the necessary inspections and deliverables to maintain compliance with the final Contractor’s Quality Control Plan
  • Prepare required deliverables for transmittal to the client
  • Interact with the client during progress meetings and quality control specific discussions
Requirements:
  • B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering with field experience preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience with administering quality control plans and inspections for TVA and/or US Army Corps of Engineers work is a plus.
 
Compensation
$60,000 - $75,000

This position will require relocation or travel during active shifts to the project location.  Travel and living compensation will be negotiated for qualified candidates.
