Integrated Pipeline Sec.12-13 Midlothian Balancing Reservoir
Thalle Midlothian Partners is a joint venture between Thalle Construction Company and ARK Contracting Services. The joint venture was awarded the $150 Million Integrated Pipeline Project for the Section 12-13 and Midlothian Balancing Reservoir Project in Midlothian, Texas.
1. Section 12-13 Pipeline and JB4 Interconnection Piping
- Construction of approximately 68,600 linear feet of 108 inch water line by a combination of open cut and tunneling, valves, connections and appurtenances
- along the proposed alignment of Sections 12 and 13 and interconnection piping across JB4 site. Installation of owner furnished valves and structures.
- Construction of cathodic protection system.
- Various site, civil and roadway improvements.
2. Midlothian Balancing Reservoir
- Construction of three approximately 150 million gallon earthen reservoirs lined with geonet composite with filter fabric on both sides, 60 mil HDPE liner and 9 inches of soil cement
- Installation of six inlet and outlet structures and approximately 1,800 linear feet of reinforced concrete encased 120-inch inlet and outlet pipe.
- Construction of site electrical system, communications system and control building.
- Construction of the reservoir underdrain system.
- Various site, civil and roadway improvements.
3. Midlothian Balancing Reservoir Yard Piping
- Installation of approximately 8,730 linear feet of 108-inch and 120-inch yard piping.
- Construction of site electrical system.
- Installation of owner provided valves and structures.
- Construction of impressed current cathodic protection system.
- Various site, civil and roadway improvements.
